MECHANISM OF CEFIXIME:
(inhibition of bacterial cell wall synthesis)
cefixime is beta-lactam antibiotics.cefixime enter to bacterial cell and
binds to specific penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs){transpeptidase}.it cause inhibit the
transpeptidation reaction and block cross-linking of the cell wall.so bacterial
cell wall is destroy.

influenzae
Moraxella catarrhalis
Streptococcus pneumoniae
typhoid fever (Salmonella)
RECOMMENDED DOSAGE OF CEFIXIME:
(This is ideal dose for your knowledge.Do not

FOR ADULT:
Adult dosage:
take 200 mg
twice a day for 10 days.
Child dosage:
(6 months to 12 years)
take 4 mg/kg twice a day for 10 days.
