USES:

used to prevent nausea and vomiting caused by following medical treatments.

Chemotherapy

Radiationtherapy

Surgery


 

MECHANISM:

serotonin 5-HT3 antagonists, which block serotonin so reduce the chemical in the body which  causing nausea and vomiting.

 

RECOMMENDED DOSAGE OF:

Adults typically take one 8-mg tablet  twice a day.

For  ages 4 to 11,  should take a 4-mg tablet three times per day.( or 5 mL of liquid).

 

ADVISE:

Do not take medicine without consult your dr or pharmacist.
